People for Responsible Development & Smart Growth. The Trujillo Lane Neighborhood Preservation Association was formed to recognize and preserve open space agricultural land as a vital part of the history, character and beauty of the Town of Taos. The Association urges the Planning & Zoning Commission and the Town Council to DENY the developer's (Sondra Rubin), request for re-zoning and subdivision of agricultural land on Trujillo Lane. We recommend that the County and the Town enact a re-zoning MORATORIUM on the land West of the Plaza (the Valverde/Ranchitos area) until a joint Town and County long range plan has been completed. Locals and visitors alike can join our Association (there are no dues). Let's show how many people care about the future development of the Town and County of Taos.
